    I have a nephew that need to take the class so we can go hunting. He lives in Cypress, Tx. He move from Delaware and is interested in bowhunting.

        go to the texas parks and wildlife webpage and see where and when the classes are being offered.

          I believe your first year you don't have to have hunter safety if you hunt with someone that has one.

            -under 9 years of age, you must be accompanied*.
            -age 9 through 16, you must successfully complete a hunter education course, or you must be accompanied*.
            -age 17 and over, you must successfully complete a hunter education course; or purchase a “Hunter Education Deferral” and you must be accompanied*.

            So for the first year of hunting you can pay a little extra for a Deferral, but you have to be accompanied.
