    Deer processing in Houston?

I usually do everything myself, but with work and little ones, i just don't have time this year. I've got everything deboned and just want sausage made. Is there any place in Houston that y'all would recommend? Preferably on the northwest side, but if I gotta drive across town, i suppose I will.
    Thanks

I use Jackson's in Crosby. It's completely on the opposite side of town, but they do good work. They also have a partnership with Hunters Harvest and will process donated meat for free and give it to Youth Reach Houston.

Switched to Ainsworth meat market on FM 2978 this year and was pleased with it. Haven't had their sausage yet though. Have one there now getting sausage done.

Fishers for the past how ever many years. Garlic, salt and pepper sausage is great. Just trying something new.

Prasek's Smokehouse in Hilje is really good if you like sausage. I also like that they vacuum pack everything, even the hamburger meat. They have a really large meat market with great kolaches as well, worth the drive. I used to use Midway in Katy, but always ended up throwing away too much meat due to freezer burn. They wrapped it in butcher paper. They also would put 2 links of sausage together and they did that with their summer sausage as well. I had to oen the pack and then put the other in a freezer bag. This was just a waste to me, and when I got around to opening up the other sausage it always was covered in ice crystals. Wherever you go, vacuum packaging is the way to go.
