Is anyone else having the problem of their post vanishing? I have posted three times and all 3 are gone. I did a search and they are not there. I know one of them made it because someone responded before it was gone.

I had one the other day. I assumed that a Mod found something wrong with it and did their job by getting rid of it. I don't know what was wrong but that is the way it goes.

I could only guess that a mod might have pulled it because of a rule violation. I don't know that to be true. Might re-read the forum guidelines to make sure your post are within limits.

Had a few yanked myself. I think there is alot of polotics on here also I have had a couple posts yanked only to turn around and see someone else post something along the same lines and nothing happen.

Send an email or PM straight to the person instead of starting a thread. Threads that don't contribute to group interest (i.e. threads intended for one person) are often times removed.

Yes. I thought I was losing my mind the first time or two it happened.

As clarification, I am talking about posts and not a thread that I started. Posts such as congratulatory remarks on a bowhunting report etc.

I have had several posts disappear in the last few weeks.

It wouldn't happen to be the thread(s) you are starting asking someone to PM or EMAIL you? If so, it's an easy answer...the thread to ask anyone to call, email or PM one are always deleted as they clutter up the site. Not to mention, the person you are trying to reach can be reached more effectively by simply calling them, emailing or even PM'ing them on this site.

4. Do not use the forum for personal communication. This also causes forum clutter. Email is much more suitable for personal communication.
