    axis nock question

I just bought some of the older easton axis shafts and they came w/ the xnock on them. I dont like how tight they are on the serving and would like to change them out. Which nocks will fit this shaft?

Only X nock will fit. I just open mine up a little until I get the fit I want.

The best solution is to reserve your center serving to fit the nocks you use. Simple, takes 5 minutes...

I took a popsicle stick and stuck some adhesive backed sandpaper to it and used it like a file to open my nocks. I tried an emory board but it didn't last as long as the sandpaper. I used the sandpaper that comes in discs made for sticking to an air sander.

I pulled my nocks out put one at a time and stuck each one into the end of a bad shaft. I then dipped them in boiling water to soften them and spread them a bit. Worked great. I was leary of sanding and weakening the nock.

I sand mine too, just to open them up a bit.
