Hog Hunts near DFW??

Anyone know of a good spot within an hour or so of DFW? I have a couple of friends looking. Any details would help. Thanks

We hunt out around the Wylie/Lavon/Farmersville area. This area is heavily infested with em' so if you can get in good with a farmer or landowner out there that is a great place to look.

I believe that the corp property on Lewisville is supposed to be bow only. I could be wrong, but I don't think you are allowed to shoot a high powered rifle around Lewisville.

you can use a shotgun on the public land out at lake aquilla and their are plenty of hogs out their. You just need to get a permit to hunt out their. Its free and not hard to do. Let me know if you are interested I could show you a really good spot.

You can bowhunt lake Lavon just stop by the Corp office and they will give you a map of Corp land open to bowhunting

they do gun and bow, great for a mixed crowd. Folks shot a nice boar last night and 2 went this morning and both got hogs! We were there for moral support and help eating breakfast!! Bob and Doreens good people, even saw a TBH sticker on a truck as we were leaving!!
