I think the load proportioning valve is correct. Some of the 80's model chevys came with them also. Directs more fluid to the rear brakes as the payload increases as stated above.

Not sure why he couldn't remember, it is the BDMHCP Valve. They run about $1500!

Just changed one on my Tacoma. It may be a dealer part.

Any other names it could be called because they don't have it in there computers, nor does Autozone. I guess I will be calling some dealerships next = expensive :-( Thanks for the help.

just cap all the lines there. Rear brakes are over rated. A good pair of channel locks you can just put a good kink in all the lines.

Dump Valve, Rear Proportioning Vavle, Load Sensing Valve. If the parts guy does not know this part, hang up.

Find a decent salvage yard maybe before you drop dealer money!! They might have one in decent shape that you can pull yourself!!

That booger is hard to find! Here is your part (#46400-56G04, Brake Proportioning Valve)
Give this to your local dealer.

It's the Flux Capacitor Bypass Valve. It prevents one rear wheel from entering time travel before the other one does...

Whatever it is, could use a pressure washing.

Part number 46400-56g04 retails for 282.45 your cost 186.42
Just a suggestion not that I don't want to sell you one but you can go to a parts store buy a brake line T and do away with it. It is mostly for hauling large heavy loads to apply more braking to the rear. I ditched mine years ago with no problems. Unless you need one I would bypass it.

These are not my words but from a Nissan forum.
