Anyone use Infrared Heaters in there house

Dang strip heat is expensive. I wondered if anyone used those infrared heaters for the primary heat in there house. I have seen those Edenpure heaters that claim to heat 1,000 square feet. My house is 1,500 and with just me and my wife there we only use half the house anyway so that should be sufficient. Just wondered if anyone have had experiance with these and if they did what they claimed.

Dont waste your time. What IR actually is and how it heats compared to the edenpure is non existant......
