YEE HAA!! I'm back in business!

After two months, I finally have my bow back!

As you all know we had to leave our bows in S.Africa because the airlines wouldn't let us take them back to Dubai. Well, the bows finally made it to Dubai and then Clent sent mine to Houston with a guy that works in his office. Thanks to Brett (Stinks and Strings) my bow made it's last treck from Houston to the hill country! Brett was heading down to his ranch (which we figured out is only 25 miles away from ours) and was kind enough to pick my bow up in Houston and bring it with him. What a nice guy! Not only did he bring me the bow but gave me the grand tour of his beautiful ranch. I had a really nice day with some great guys and another bonus...I made a new friend.

It just amazes me how helpful everyone on this site is. Helping out strangers seems to be the norm here. Hopefully I can return the favor soon.

    Thanks, Brett!

Judy it was great to meet you. We had a great time driving around and I can't wait to see some of the pictures. While we were driving around earleir in the day my dogs broke into the pantry and ate raw pinto beans. Well thank goodness I put them in the kennel on the way home b/c one of them had some explosive you know what, so maybe I should change my name to "stinks" and Strings. ha ha!

When Clent comes over we want to meet him too! I also want to make a trek and see your place some time. I will let you know next time I am on my way up.

P.S. I took the trash to the dump this morning on the Ranger and got within 25 yards of a really nice Blackbuck. Sorry, I had to let you know. Next time we'll go on one of those and get some better pictures.

It was great to meet you. Let me know if you ever need anything up there.

Judy, I took a couple pics this morning from another spot on the ranch. Man I can't believe how grren it is, how much water there is, and how tall the weeds are. I also am including some of my girls before the accident.

a few more. I am also including one from last summer when it was about 6-8 feet lower than it is right now. I hope to take some more here in the next few weeks if I can get back down there by then. I need to float some and tan this white body of mine.

Well just having the darn thing is not going to put any meat in the freezer. You actually have to get it out of the case and shoot it.

We have pigs tearing up every part of the ranch and you ain't out there putting the smack down on 'em......

Thanks Brett. I appreciate the TBH express and showing Judy around. Hopefully we can hook up next time I get back in country.

It's all Clent's fault ... I woulda made him buy me another one while I was waiting!

T-Taxis.... You sure take my wifes side a lot. You must think she has the key to the ranch gate, or controls the invite list.

These are both correct assumptions unfortunately.
