Next upcoming doe and cull hunt is Friday, Jan 21 through Sunday, Jan 23. Here are the basics...
$150 per hunter for the weekend. Non-shooting guests are $50 each for the weekend. This is MLD hunting. Doe are $100 each and any buck 8 pt or less is $350 (no antler restriction). Ranch is approx 3,000 acres low fence about an hour SW of Fort Worth and about twenty minutes north of Meridian.
Gun or bow. Plenty of stands for however you wish to hunt. Gun hunters...big elevated box blinds, ground box blinds, oat fields, feeders, etc. Bow setups are mostly all double setups with ladder stands, lockons or ground blinds with options for right or left handed shots. Feeders, hand corn and oats.
Camp is an old farm house with most of the amenities of home including a kitchen (fridge, microwave, oven, stove top), two bathrooms (one with a shower), plenty of beds (can sleep up to ten people, satellite tv, space heaters. Plenty of room to spread out outside with an elevated fire pit, cold storage for deer, skinning rack, old GlenDale buck 3D target and place to sight rifles in.
Hunts are what I'd call semi-guided. It's not a day lease where you get to drive all over the place. You can pick and choose where and how you want to hunt. We'll work together on getting everyone to and from the stands. You can start hunting as early as Friday afternoon upon arrival and hunt until dark on Sunday.
PM me with any questions or to secure a spot. I had to miss the hunt this past weekend but I hear it was a good one. A young female hunter got her a doe and plenty of bucks and does were seen. If you want a doe/cull hunt but can't make the Jan 21-23 hunt, tell me when you want to go!
