    Has anyone ever reloaded these and what type of performance are you getting out of it?

    It seems to me that it would be close to a 30-30.

    There is a guy on THR that is getting sub 1" groups @ 100 with his hand loads. www.thehighroad.com I believe it is Krochus over there. He has alot of documentation.

      i have a ruger model 77 in 762x39 thats a safe queen..never thought about loading her up and seein what she'd do

        I never reloaded the cartridge in the classic sense but I would pull the bullets from factory military ammo (quite a trick really as the bullets are literally glued into cases to make them water proof) and replaced them with .30 cal. 125 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips for deer hunting. Kept the original powder charge and only replaced the FMJ bullets. Worked pretty good for deer hunting with an SKS and they were more accurate than the military stuff.
