    after the kill

This is a nice boar that was given to me by a friend. After sittin on ice for 7 days, I began the processing.....

The 1st step was to debone the shoulders and cut the hams into peices that would fit into the grinder.

Next was the grinding process. This is my favorite part. The grinder I have makes light work of even the biggest of boars.

Next, it was time to stuff the bags. Good thing I got this 20 pound stuffer. It too makes light work of big tubs of meat.

After all the grinding and stuffing was done, I cut a few steaks. Can't wait to get them on the grill.

You need a bigger cutting board.

Yessir you are correct. I have only been doing my own processing for two years. I try to buy tools a little at a time. 1st mistake was a 5 pound stuffer. I spent more time packing the stuffer than filling bags.

I just bought an attachment and fill bags off he grinder. I also get different processing tools every year. I built a 10 foot stainless steel table that is a little highter than belly button and it has been the best thing Ive done so far.
