OT: auto transmission ?

Ive got a 04 chevy 2500 hd 4wd, 6.0 gas with auto tranny. The info on dash is showing transmission hot. I cked fluid and its fine. Any thoughts ?

chek the sensor....and or the wiring...start simple, and Auto Zone can run a code check. Is the fluid red? Brownish red? Smell burt?

If you have an extra radiator it may be clogged with grass or trash from
driving through pasture.

How would I ck if I have one. It has been thru pasture and mud when I go hunting. How would I fix that? Not sure if it matters but my raditor is low.

Look and see if you have two radiators if so use air hose to blow out or pressure wash when motor is off and cool.
