I think God has guided Trey and yourself, this far, and he will continue to lead you in the right direction.

        Amen to this.

God Bless you and your family as you proceed as God wills.

I would also talk to an expert on his type of mental problems to understand the best approach and what may or may not set him off.

With tears in my eyes, I see God at work Amen!

            Way to go, ALL involved.

I don't know what to say...... God bless you in whatever decision you make..... Regardless of how this turns out it sounds like you are raising your son right and you and your family are what still make this country a good place to call home.

Let God work this out. You, Trey and your family are a vessel being used for a definite purpose. If a reunion does not happen, it certainly won't be because you did not try. My prayers are for a happy ending. God bless for your efforts.

The best thing you could have done was notify the families that he was alive.

Know that whatever happens, you have been a HUGE blessing to the family.

This is really an amazing story.

Wow! Truely an amazing thing you are doing there. Be his friend. Maybe after some time invite his brother to come to lunch with yall one day. I doubt he would remember him if he has such a disease as schizophrenia.

                        Such an amazing story
I used to do a trip with our youth group once a month to feed and talk to the homeless. Ever since then I try and make a point to talk to them.
If you change this guys life you will feel amazing.
                        Good luck to you
Prayers sent up for you and may you say the right words to help him reunite with his family

Quite a story JT. Not sure that I have any advice that would help. You are dealing with someone that evidently doesn't think rationally so his response may be the same as it was the last time. Granted you were put in his life for a reason and all I can say is pray for God to guide you in your words and actions in dealing with Jerome. My prayers are with you, Jerome and his family!

prayers sent! God obviously is working through you. You may have been put in his life for this very reason. I hope he can mend the bridges with his family.
