Squirrel & Rabbit hunting

I missed deer season this year due to health issues so I want to do some rabbit and squirrel hunting, anybody got a lead on places I might hunt…

I've seen plenty of squirrel almost every time I've gone out this season all on public lands. They seem most active just after sun rise and just before sundown. Hardwoods in the creek beds. Couldn't say anything about rabbits. These are all in East Texas though.

I Squirrel hunt quite a bit when I can, but its always in the SHNF, it is a lot of fun. Not really sure about any place near you though.

I have seen a bunch of squirrels and some rabbits at Lake Aquilla. I would be happy to point you in the direction of the noisy little boogers

squirrels everywhere now and best time to hunt because cover is little to none.

It never fails to see rabbits where I hunt, I shot one almost every time I was there
