    Cheapest I've seen red deer hind are around the $500 mark - wendy lou ranch

    Nilgai cows are a bit more.

      Before the oil boom and nilgai craze. I remember seeing Nilgai cows for $500 and bulls for $1500......not so much those prices now.

        I wouldn't mind a cow elk for the freezer at a reasonable price....or nilgai cow for that matter.

          Mariposa ranch in Falfurias will work with you on their one day hunts if you have more than two people. If you can get three might be able to get a cow nilgai for around $500.00. If you need another hunter shoot me a pm, I may be able to go. I could use some nilgai meat.

                              mariposa is $500 for a cow nilgai, but only after you book a hunt for nilgai at $3200, the second bull is $800 and any cows are $500 according to their website

                                Nice to see the thread back up from 7 yrs ago. We ended up doing a red deer hind hunt for $500. The meat was great but I was a little disapointed in the size. She only went about 150# field dressed.
