    Im sooooooooooo confused!

I usually wake up at 2:30am to get ready to go to work when I'm on day shift. Im off this weekend, so I slept in. Got up around 5:15am. So, while everyone was still asleep, I figured I'd start puttin together all this stuff my kids got yesterday. Aint got nuthin built yet. I got so many spare parts, I can build a new toy we dont even own! I aint figured out if they were extra parts or if they were left over and actually have a use.

Bad thing is, yesterday my son spent hours building a fort out of all the card board boxes. Guess what he's gettin next year!

You haven't reached the age yet where you actually read the directions before starting, it usually happens around 50 yrs old

yup. 4:30-4:30. I get up at 2:30 to get ready, drink coffee, fix my lunch and feed the dogs. takes me an hour to get to work. That means I gotta leave b4 3:30. pull into the plant about 4:15. Makes for a long day, but the kids gotta eat!

Oh thank goodness. I thought this might be a "don't ask, don't tell" kinda thread.

I spent part of the afternoon on the 22nd putting together a supposed simple swing set for my kids (the one Academy had on same the day after Thanksgiving). When I went to finish it on Christmas Eve morning I had to undo most of what I had done because apparently the directions for this thing require you to look at the picture on the box to make sure you put it together correctly. I swear I spent as much time disassembling this thing as I did putting it together.

                          Starvation is a strong motivator!

                            building a swing set SUX!!!

had a buddy of mine (a mechanical engineer) come over and help attempt assemble a swing set. After a case of beer and several (maybe a few more) curse words, he and his wife went home. I spent the rest of the day separating and grouping all the different sized bolts together, THEN I actually read the directions (looked at the pictures, the directions were in spankongicanise!) I got er dun but it wasnt easy!
