Buddy has one in .204, good shooting gun. I dont know what your gonna use it for but it would be awesome in 22/250. Dont know how the newer models are but the camo came off of his in places when you got skeeter dope on it.

I have one that I have had for about a year. This is my 2nd one, both in 22-250, I have shot less than 50 rounds thru it and have priced it to sell if your interested.

I have a slightly older model 10 that I recently won. It's a mod 10 tac with a bull barrel and a pillar bedded injection molded stock. Not exactly what you're looking for but pretty close to an apple to apple comparision. It's pre accu-trigger and shoots great. It's chambered in .223 and I've shot 1MOA out to 300 yards with Black Hills ammo.

I'm looking to upgrade to a laminate stock this winter and adjust the 5 lb trigger down below 3 lbs.

I have the scope you're looking for in a standard model on a .280, no camo and basic reticle. You'll be hard pressed to find a better scope for the money, the Nikon Prostaff is very tough and dependable.

            All of course is JMO...

            Good luck.

Look at the Remington version as well. I have it and while I don't like the stock on either, they both shoot well.

I have one that is a tack driving machine. i put the nikon predator scope on it with a bipod. it is probably my fav gun to take with hunting. great buy in my opinion.

                    thanks
                    guys

yes i have had a few nice rifle and i like the 22-250, its fast flat and would work well for deer ,

i had a remington 700 p (police addition) ,, ver nice in .308,, tack driveing and well placed shots at 600m ,, loved the gun but really didnt need a sniper rifle so it was sold to pay for a hunt !

just looking to get back to a nice small cal round that i can still get out to say 300yrd or so

any how i have had a savage and i do like the way they shoot , have not had a newer model or an acutriger ,, but from the reading and the videos and what info i could find on the net they seam to be a better gun than the older savages ,safer with better action set up

thanks again and i am looking forward to getting one of these

I've got one in a 22-250....shoots great. Daughter shot a buck with it 2 years ago and it did the job....shot several coyotes with it in New Mexico and it performed like it should. I haven't had a single problem or gripe with it.
