AR Scope Mount?

Looking for a scope mount for my AR15. Anyone use a Burris PEPR?

Yes that one is worth the extra money for what you are getting plus if you are like me you may need the extra height to get the scope high enough to see through it without scrunching down to get to it. I had to add a 3/4 inch rail to mine under the mounts to get it high enough to look straight through the scope.

I bought a ProMag 1" riser and used standard hi-mount rings. Works fine. The riser I got at Academy.

The PEPR is nice, but I think you'll struggle to find one.

i have one similar to the top one i think i paid $30 for it check out NcStar quick release scope mount

Try anywhere but Cabelas for the Burris mount. It's a nice one.

X2 There is virtually no drop in the stock on an AR and it requires a higher scope mount than I at first realized. It took me two tries to get it right. I ended up adding the rail too.

Look at the one with the Picatinny on top, in case you decide to mount a light for shooting varmints at night. Pretty clever. It is a very nice mount, and really sturdy.


I'm saving up for LaRue mounts, so I can easily swap back and forth between my Aimpoint and a scope.
