    Stuffed animals

So after moving all of my fiancé's stuff out of her old apartment, we are left with a box full of stuffed animals that her daughter has outgrown. ( we had her pick a few of the dozens she had ). My predicament is that goodwill will not take them.

I am probably going to drop them off at a dog shelter for chew toys unless one of y'all wants to take them. Also have a handful of kids puzzle/blocks and misc toys that Goodwill would not except. If anyone wants them, pm me. I'm in College Station now FYI.

Thanks. And if this should be in the classifieds, mods please forgive and move it. I'm just giving this stuff away.

    Merry Christmas

They make nice targets pinned to a bag. If they are not good enough to give to another child.

In Burnet we have the Sunshine House, it is where they interview abused kids in a postive happy atmosphere. They always accept toys. You may see if BCS has something similar.

My wife's surgery unit gives them to kids going into surgery. A hospital near you may take them.

You could find the local Child advocate program or the local law enforcment. When I was on patrol I always carried several stuffed animals in the cruiser for those calls that dealt with lil kids...unfortunatly those seemed to be on the increase when I got out of LE. Just a thought.

Ok update for anyone who cares

Police and fire departments don't take them either. I guess it's either dog rescue group or burn pile for these fluffy friends.

Lee, try Scottie's House. They interview abused children and may be able to use them.
