    Foxpro Question

I'm in the market for a predator call and understand that Foxpro is the only way to go- My question is do I need to spend $419 on the firestorm or will the $199 spitfire do just as well? Gonna be used mostly in east TX settings with coastal fields and timber edges for coyotes and bobcats-

Any other predator "have to have" tips would be great too-

Just got the foxpro firestorm I would recommend buying direct from foxpro, same price and you can get the calls you want also they will load all the free calls plus the ones you are allotted. shot dog the first time I used it in West TX. taking it to South TX. next week. Maybe I could have got the cheaper one but that is what cold beer and the internet will get you. The remote is nice!

see if you cant get a refurbished fx3 thats what I have and is perfect for any kind of calling. I dont know much about the new models but order straight off of foxpro website so you dont have to pay for the sounds, oh and make sure you get dsg cottontail, baby cottontail, and wailing woodpecker!! No fox can deny any of those sounds

I have the Foxpro Spitfire and love it. It holds lots of calls and you can interchange calls if you want with their software. Used it on coyotes and turkey calling and works awesome. I saw them for sale in Academy recently. As for tips, use a decoy with the calling. Gets them focused on it and not you. Good luck!

ALLPREDATORCALLS.com is good to deal with and they don't charge for sounds. The FX3 maybe all you need, it has 32 sounds and is a great caller. Check them out.

Burnham Brothers - Predator Calls to call up coyotes, bobcats and fox are our specialty. Made in the USA, our products are known the world over for quality and results. Family owned and operated since 1952.

I stopped in and talked to the guys at Burnham Brothers back in July, nice guys. They have a show on one of the hunting channels coming out this next year. They did alot of hunting up here around me.

I looked at the CompuCaller III. Im not saying it is good or bad but I just didnt like the design. I think the Foxpro is a more rugged design. As for which one.........minimum of the FX3. I am not real familiar with the newer models. FX5 was top of the line when I bought mine. The Fury was the next model out above that.

A referb from Foxpro would be a good deal. I believe they have same warranty and sounds.

I have the CompuCaller III and love it. It is the most user friendly e-caller available, and I have killed alot of coyotes, bobcats, and fox over it. They are also really nice people, and a pleasure to do business with.

I'm on my second season with the spitfire, love it! No problems, same sound as more expensive units, etc. A guy at foxpro explained to me that the only differences in them were amount of call storage and dual speakers. You can add speaker, not necc. needed, and it comes with more sounds than u will ever use. The higher ones are a bit easier to select calls etc, but for the price, you can't go wrong with spitfire. I recommend getting rechrg batts, will last a long time between charges, and can recharge after outing and know u are good to go.
