Thanks guys now I have to go out and get some oysters! We went to New Orleans for Thanksgiving and we just had to stop at Acme and get some grilled and halfshell oysters. They guy shucking them must have like my wife because we split a dozen on the half shell and while waiting for our grilled ones to arrive he kept putting more fresh shucked ones on our plate. When it was all done I think we got close to 2 dozen on the house. I was actually getting tired of oysters.

        Admittedly, no.
I love oysters any way a person can fix them. I'd lay money that I have eaten 50 different oyster dishes/preparations and have NEVER found one I dont like.
If someone made a batch of oyster dressing in, oh..say april, I might like it. But dressing at a holiday meal is supposed to be cornbread dressing Oyster dressing just aint right.

Yes you can, just make sure you keep them iced down. Don't just put a little. They will keep for a few days (4-5)on ice. Could maybe go longer but would be stretching it.

I think the good scotch was just the drink of choice of my grandad, my grandad's FIL (who ran the Gold Saloon), my dad and I don't mind a good single malt either, lol.
              I don't believe it. I ate a dozen and only 3 worked!
