Live (sort of) Hunt, White Oak Creek WMA

Well I tried to post earlier today but reception was spotty. Dad and I are hunting White Oak Creek WMA east of Mt. Pleasant this weekend, but didn't see much today. Will try and give live updates tomorrow. Anyone willing to give us some tips for hunting compartment 5? (west of 259, south of I-30 and north of White Oak Creek) We followed the main road for about a mile and a half and found a small clearing about 100 yards back in the woods (hunting out of a pop-up). Are there any fields or other landmarks in this compartment? This is a beautiful WMA, looks like great deer habitat!

Yes this is the final draw hunt of three this year(dec 17-19) at WOC. Sorry 30-30 I've hunted several compartments at WOC but not the one you're in. Since tomorrow is your final half day you might want to try still-hunting,sorta take the game to the deer.Good luck.
