A co-worker had her computer crash and she asked me if I could put all of my music on her new ipod. I have over 900 songs. I feel like if I do this, I am giving her everything I paid for. I don't mind helping out a person, but my entire music folder? My music seem personal to me. I don't know. I am out of whack here, or is this a form of pirating? Would you guys give your entire music collection to a co-worker (not 'friend')?

She just wants some tunes to jam on. I guess if you have some sentimental playlists or something then you obviously wouldn't want to give them to her. But her computer crashed. And that would be horrible because I'm sure she lost a lot of stuff. I would give her the songs. Not a big deal in my opinion, but its up to you. I'm pretty sure if you buy something on your itunes account you just need to log in and you can redownload it for free. Which i could be completely wrong so don't quote me.

When you buy a song from iTunes, you aren't just buying the song. You are also buying a personal music license for that song as well but that license only applies to you. But then again, I think iTunes does have something about allowing you to share your music with someone also. Think of it this way, those 900 songs, at .99 cents a pop, comes to 891 dollars. If she asked you for 891 dollars, would you give it to her?

Well, she is not really a friend- just a person I work with. Yes, she is pretty, divcorced with two kids, and a former Dallas Cowboy cheerleader and dance studio owner.

Good point about the iTunes storage and no, I don't want to share my account information with her.
