I have a live hunt thread from atascosa county. Still foggy with a chill in the air but nothing is moving except geese up above. Thinking about rattling. I am in a ground pop up blind and it appears about 45 yards up the road I see my grunt call laying in the road must have fallen out of my back pack on the walk in. I'm thinking about rattling to see if that gets things stirring so my question is this. Do I just stick with the horns alone or do I disturb things by having to do my zipper door get out of the blind run down and grab the grunt call then get back in... What would you guys do. I'm also posting this comment in my live hunt thread......

last weekend during the foggy saturday morning about 9-9:30 a huge ten point walked out of the fog...I was not ready. had no time to get prepared, and I was getting pretty comfy from sitting there for a while.
sit till atleast 10 before rattling. leave the grunt call lay... you still have a few hours of good hunting left.
