          5.5 pretty sure. Reasons explained earlier as to y he is 5.5 instead of 4.5. Local biologist would be a good reference as they see many deer in your area.

            I'm not saying that you can't see a deer with its milk teeth or one that has worn down teeth isn't two years old but getting within a year or two may be correct... or it may not.

            yep alot of it depends on where the deer was killed and how sandy the soil in your area is.

                  I'm only familiar with deer taken on our South zone deer lease but he wouldn't make 5 1/2 on our place. He'd be a money deer if he had 8 or more points and scorable brow tines.
