There are a lot of good things about this, and if he isnt here then the Phillies is best.

1. Rangers batters wont have to face him during the regular season.
2. He is in Red pin stripes not Black!
3. Maybe he is wanting to pad his career batting average and HR total.
4. This is the best reason of them all: Him taking less money just shot the wheels off all the other available pitchers like Greinke, and Garza!! Their money becomes more realistic for their talent level, and no one will have to over pay for them!!

he took the easy way out. now there is no pressure on him. he does not have to lead a team. this year was the first time he had to lead a team and he failed.

As much as I wanted him to be back with the Rangers, I have to admit that I like him even more now... He went where he really wanted to play, and took less money to do it..
