    Anybody got an idea...

How to move a 1000 pound safe through garage door, bedroom door into master closet without killing myself? It stands about 6' tall 40+" wide and 29" deep

Yup, 2" schedule 40 pvd cut about 2 ft long. Jamie and I moved ours and it's 1200lb. Just cut a bunch of them so you have about 5 under it and a couple to replace the ones it just rolled off of.

Well worth the money to pay someone to move it that has the experience. Could save a few squashed toes/feet and ruined house interior in spots. If it starts to fall, you ain't going to stop it.

Never get it done for that, believe me I tried to find someone to do it for $250 and couldn't.

Call some movers. Then your wife will be mad at them for tearing up the house.

I would have used those if they sat high enough to get the safe over the door jam

Place where it was bought will deliver and install for 350. The guy told be they use a 6,000 electric dolly they control remotely and it even climbs stairs. They hardly even touch the safe. Just hate turning a good deal in to a bad deal by paying the extra money was thinking an older STEAL appliance dolly that has the kick-out legs that will hold it at a 45 angle and not come over on me.

I've also heard people using golf balls and some sort of rollers. Almost need plywood for the rollers to work good though.
