    Best hunting lease website

I am thinking of finally joining a hunting lease next year. Can anyone give me an opinion on the best hunting lease website ? I am thinking of joining Texas lease connection are there any others that are better ? Is there another option for finding/joining a lease ? I do not know a lot of hunters in Texas or have the contacts at the moment. I see quite a few on Craigslist but do not want to lose my money or get on a lease that might have problems. I have already driven around and talked to ranchers , looked at some of the hunting clubs , hunted public land but think that a private lease will fit my needs better. Any suggestions or lease openings would be much appreciated. Robert

You are on it! This is where I found my current lease. I paid for memberships to several sites and found my lease on TBH! Good luck, it is a tough job finding a good lease.

I think calling around to Chambers of Commerce is your best way to locate a hunting lease, if you already have a group of folks wanting to join in as a group. Or maybe those Chambers have a listing of leased lands seeking additional/replacement paid hunters.
Choose areas of Texas you want to hunt and call those local chambers.
I would avoid craigslist. Seems like a good place to get scammed.

However, for a bowhunter...TBH is probably the best place to get on a lease with people you share common interests with. Particularly if you're flying solo and don't have a group of friends put together to lease a new place.

I use chamber of commerce websites, I know Coleman, Comanche , Brown, Palo Pinto, and Eastland all have good selections to pick from, prices vary greatly, as well as size and quality.

Thanks Guys , I will start checking the COC websites. I had not thought of that. I came across W Texas last week from El Paso to San Antonio and saw a ton of hunting camps and that made my decision to find a lease next year definite. I am tired of all the BS with public lands. Oh yeah , if anyone has an opening let me know
