Duck hunting

I went duck hunting this morning with some old friends it started out slow but ended up pretty good.
We got wood duck, teal , gadwall, spoonbill , and a pintail

Those are gorgeous wood duck there man. Thats on top of my list for the taxidermist one of these days I will get me one!

And those gaddys are pretty good sliced stripped with some scrambled eggs . Congrats on a good haul!

I don't think I'm gonna go till next weekend. Even though I'm off till the 15th.

Alan, I'll be at my camphouse in between Eagle Lake and Garwood for about 10 days around Christmas. We need to go duck hunting (meaning, you need to take me duck hunting!).

Slow season in Cali this year. Unless I hunt with my son who can call ducks from over the horizon into the spread

Yesterday am, 2 guns, 5 hours and 2 teal to show for it.

I'd do it again any day. It's addictive.

We had a good goose hunt last week. Several mature birds, a couple of which ended up at the taxidermist...
