Softball bat for 9 year old girl

I was just curious if anyone has any suggestions on a softball bat for my daughter. She is currently using a 28/17 but it is outdated. Trying to stay in the $200.00 and less range. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What is her height and weight? Is she a slapper or hitter?

She is 4'5" and weighs 72#. I would classify her as a hitter.

I used to be a fan of the biggest drop.Used a -12 for years. A longer but lighter bat , but when my daughter went to a heavier -10 her power improved. I was after bat speed , but there is a point where you go too far that way. At the age your daughter is a -10 is good. My daughter is in high school now and is swinging a -9 Anderson Rocket Tech. When she was younger I did like the TPS bats a lot more than the Easton's.

PM Heath on here. I'm sure he has something for your daughter.

Step up the length. My daughter has used eastons most of the time. However, if you play in cold weather they will break. The rocket tech has always been a good bat for the girls that has a little strength. I agree with brshcntryhntr look for a drop 10. My girl is a slapper, but prefers to hit away. She still smashes the ball with a drop 11.5. Let me check. I have about 30 bats that the girls have outgrown.
