Wow! Really great buck!

and not criticizing by any means, but I am wondering how old he was....the few pics make him look 4.5 -5.5 at the oldest. Again, not saying that you should have waited -- God knows I sure couldn't on a buck like that on most places......

He was 4.5. If he wouldnt have had those drops he would have been a cull at that age with those horns on him. We made the decision to kill him cause there is no guarantee he would throw those drops next year and he didnt have much else going on for him besides that. We figured none of us may ever see another one with double drops much less have a chance to kill one. Whoever saw him first was gonna kill him, I just got lucky and had him walk out in front of me.
