Xd, smooth, light, accurate, and has round indicator. If ya go with the 40 you can get a 9 bbl for a cheaper plinking, just saying.

I have several XD's I don't think you can go wrong with one. But when it comes to pistols its all about how it feels in your hand. But I would give consideration to the Sig 2022 I think thats the model number its on sale right now at Acadmey for 399.00, its really a nice full size pistol for the price.

another vote for xd...never had a problem with it, its accurate and feels good in my hand. I didnt like how the glocks felt, so i would say go with whatever feels best to you.

9mm & glock just go together...all good guns & you can't really go wrong but these two just go together.


the issue w/ the blown up gun is very isolated and tied to 40 bbls...non issue with the 17 & 19.

This comes from a die hard 1911 .45 guy...if i was going to get a 9, it would be a glock.

I personally like the XD. I like the grip safety. All of your choices are fine weapons.
