    pros/cons of LEM grinders

I am pretty set on getting an LEM grinder in the $250-$400 dollar range from Academy or Bass pro depending on best sales/coupons/gift cards after xmas. From people who have one lets hear the PROS/CONS.

Thanks guys for all the help.

Did it run you around $700? That would be the 1.5 HP I believe.

That would be a hell of a steal if it was new

Don't know about their grinders, but the LEM vertical stuffers will crank out sausage

Yep it was new and my brother bought a 1hp before I got mine for about the same price. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time

I have a Cebala's 1hp that I sweart could double as a wood chipper! It has processed a few deer, pigs and elk over the past 4 years. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Recomendation: Find the biggest one you can afford and buy the next bigger size! You won't regret it, I promise.

Good idea!!! I will prolly do that. I want BassPro because close to house and can always return if gives me problems but Cabelas have bigger ones. Cabelas is just so far away.
