I am considering getting a Matthews Z7. I realize that in 2010 they released just the plain jane Z7, which was very popular. This year, I see they released the eZ7, the Z7 Extreme and some other model, which I don't remember.
Tell me if I am right about the following:
1. The eZ7 is maybe not as fast as another Z7 model but it is made to have a super-smooth draw.
2. The Extreme Z7 is a very short ATA bow (28") and may have a little bit rougher draw, but is built to go very fast.
3. The 2010 Z7 is still a great bow (30" ATA) and there is not a whole ton of difference between it and the newer 2011 Z7s.
Finally, I have about a 27" draw length (measured in person at Smithfield Archery). Does this give me an advantage in shooting the faster, short ATA bows? In other words, could I shoot a Z7 Extreme easier than another guy since my draw length is short? Or do I have a disadvantage on the other Z7 bows since my draw length is short?
Thanks guys.
