Need info on Oklahoma hunting

Found a new place to hunt in Mccurtain Co. and going to go look at it in 10 days. Has anyone hunted up there before if so what is the quality of deer or other game that I can expect.

I hunt in Johnson Co. which is north of Durant. The deer numbers are just above East Texas numbers but less than hill country. They are bigger body and bigger horns. Licenses are going up next year also.

Good area but research the cost of tags, I have an Okie Lifetime license but an out of stater can rack up a healthy license bill. In the tune of about $ 600 a year per person if you shoot your limits. The cost is going up as well.
