I have the camo pattern ones. I love them and can be on shin high water and my feet stay dry.

Best snake boots I have ever owned. I should be a sales rep for rocky because I have sold a few pairs of those boots to fellow hunters on my lease w/ no commission. Everyone loves them bc they are extremely comfortable and affordable.

look like they are trying to copy chips.

look like a nice pair of boots, I'm not a huge fan of their products but certainly understand that lots of folks swear by em. I'd spend the money and got to chips or danners.

I've worn chips and these are way more comfortable than chips hands down.

                any sense of life?

I've always thought my rockies were more comfortable then anything not even close to as durable as my chips or danners.

I have buddies with chippewas that are over 10 years old and still rocking. I have a pair of danners that have last me seven years.

I've had a few pair of rockies and not one has made it more then two years.

I'm on my fourth pair in less than a year. Really comfortable and waterproof but don't seem to last and I'm really particular about taking care of my leather. So there is my review.

a couple of reviews say you need to order a size bigger because these run small.
did you have to get a full size bigger or just a 1/2 size ?

I had the older model that they replaced, but still very similar. Very comfortable and required no break in. They stayed waterproof through a few years of hard use and were fairly light as well. I wouldnt be scared to get another pair.

I also wear the camo pattern rockies and would buy another pair. Mine are bout a half size too big so that when it gets cold I have room for the wool socks. My feet have never gotten wet and love the fact that I can have them on and off in seconds. Never been struck by a snake in them and hopefully never will but if they are as snakeproof as they are waterproof then no worries. Hard to beat for the money IMO.
