Guess who was right behind her? Thats right, the big guy. He also jumped into the fence, and I'm thinking OH NO. He sees us and runs off into the brush, but I know he will be back. Sean you realize this is only the 2nd time I have laid eyes on him in 2 years.
I'm not about to set there and watch him break his neck, Dustin and I hot foot it to the house and the only bow I've got there is my ULtratec, but as always it is ready to go. I don't even know if I can pull it since I tore my bicep in two.
We head back over but come in from the east, he is back on the fence line trying to find his way thru but heading west, and is about 200 yrds from an open gate. I watch him go over the hill and i'm sure he went thru to the south side.

Like I said, i've only seen him in the flesh twice in 2 yrs, and he is so far impossible to pattern

I think i'll call him Houdini

My dad and I watched two bucks clear a 10' fence a few years back in south TX. It was ridiculous but that seemed to be about the limit as they both made the top of the fence move as they went over.

                    That's funny there.

Thanks for the post ups. It's amazing to hear the jumping abilities of the Whitetail Deer.

I know that a 2,000 lb bull can jump a good barbed wire fence when he catches wind of that special juice.

Jerp, just like in cattle management, once they become jumpers, putting 'em down is just the right thing to do cause they'll never change.... Good job by your friend!

I to watched a buck chasing a doe trying to get away from him she cleared the 8ft fence the biggest buck chasing her tried but crashed way short a 2yo cleared it. The big buck was just to heavy know how he feels lol.

This got me to thinking about the first hunt in Buck Commander 3. The deer that Chipper shoots jumps a fence that looks super tall to me...anyone else have the video and know what I am talking about?

High fences are game proof and are horrible and should be outlawed because they trap deer and offer no chance for escape.
You were all just seeing things, no way a deer could jump a high fence. I suspect some kind of government mind control involvement that has all of you believing a deer could jump a high fence!
