I barely got my stand up by 2:00 p.m. Left LA @ 5:30 this a.m. Came home, got my gear and headed over there. Got the stand hung in the same tree that I've hunted the last 2 years (it wasn't taken, thank goodness). It's my own "killn tree"!

Gonna be hard to stay awake 2morrow for me. Had to put in 41 hrs work in 2 days to get off for this hunt. I hope it's worth it! lol.

Ah heck Derek, Do you really think your going to be able to get to sleep tonight anyway . If the weather stays cold this should be the best of the segment hunts!!

Well, I guess it could have been worse.
Congrats to the hunter that punched his pass, shot a nub and killed the only buck in the segment. The grand slam of Hag. Wish I was able to see a few more but they must have gone into lockdown. Muleymatt and I had a time and quite a few laughs so it was well worth it.
