using it now, like it just fine. I really don't see an increased speed in browsing, but I like a simple, clean layout. more screen real estate compared to IE & FF, imo.

It is the best browser hands down IMHO!!!!
I dont know a whole lot about computers but it is the most user friendly browser that i have ever used.
Firefox is ok and i cant stand IE
I really wish that i could download chrome on the school computers!!!

spyware? of course...but google doesn't call it that

and by the way, who isn't? iphones have a back door so that gov. can hijack your mic....nobody seems to care though, why worry about your browsing habits.

Its the google suggest mechanism....if for instance you type "www.texas", the browser sends and auto complete request to Google to get most popular websites starting with “www.texas”.

Additionally, you opt in when you install the software and you can disable any reporting via the Options > Under the Hood tab. It also goes back to Google for updates every day and also downloads malware and phishing sites throughout the day.

I used it a lot on my OLD (8 years old) computer and the load times were a lot faster then any of the other browsers, do not see as much difference with my new computer.
