    Best Game Cam for 250.00

Okay so you see my game cam dilemna from the elk. Gonna get a picture game cam to hold us by until we can get the other one's fixed.

Does anyone know if the M.A.D. Wildlife eyes are at Gander Mountain in C.S.?

Anyways which one would you pick that was 250.00 or less that had connection to a 12volt battery.

Trigger speed doesnt have to be extremely fast because it will be over a feeder. but i just need something.

    Let me know your OPINIONS.

Travis.....check out the Moultrie IR40. I have read nothing but good things about it and bought one myself......I'm about to buy another today. I set it up in my backyard and worked my lab in the dark. I was very impressed with the pics needless to say.

Battery life seems like it is going to be as advertised...After 25 nightime pics my battery life still read 99%

I found them (via TBH) on Ebay fior $195... no tax and free shipping......

I sorry, I must have quoted wrong. No I am talking about the Moultie I40, so far it looks pretty good. I think Acadamy has it for just under $200.00. I bought mine at Cabelas for $219.00 but I had the $30 off coupon.

Since I've been bldg my own, my knowledge on the commercial camera market has shrunk a bit.

Stealth's I450 has been getting feedback and goes for around $140. It does take an external 12v.

Moultries new IR(4mp I40 & 6mp I60) cams are also doing well with users. They go for around $200 & $300 respectively. There is some kind of an auxillary power solution/solar panel in the works from Moultrie right now, but honestly, it looks like they will do 1000+ pics on a set of batteries as it is....so I'm not sure more power is an issue.

I'll be up front about it...I do mod the forums over at Chasingame. It really is a great place to get info on the latest trailcams.

Sweet I think you'll like it from what I've seen.......

I bought another last night. Both report for "full time deer duty" this weekend as looking at pics of my dog in infra-red is losing it luster....and she's tired of modeling...
