Sorry just checked back in. Nothing fell prey to the ABolt 270 tonight. It was just at 47 when we got back to the house.

No luck tonight. My brother missed a spike and all I saw were does.

No luck finding the pigs. I hit them both high. One was a complete pass through and nothing but fat on the arrow. the other only penetrated about half way and broke off. I feel confident the 2nd pig is dead, but with no blood I am gonna look for her tomorrow.

Note to self, when you change sights before deer season remember that the new sights are set for 20,30,40,50, and 60 yards. Not 10,20,30,40, and 50 like the old sights. I aimed for 15yards, but forgot that my first two pins were 20 and 30 so I actually shot for 25 and that is why I hit high.

Will be back in the tree tomorrow morning and then going beaver hunting after that and a little spot and stalk down the river bank.

Hey Loco, Where are you at in Wimberley?

Beaver hunting in Wimberley. I guess the landowner gave the green light?
