It's hot and muggy in Austin. Overcast. Drizzling. Hard to believe that front is almost here and bringing a hard freeze with it. But I'm prepared. Got a big stack of wood by the fireplace even though the air conditioning is running right now.

Okay, back to the kitchen and the turkey....

Aw, thanks for missing me! I haven't had a chance to hunt much. Leaseless these past two seasons.

I'd like to join a lease next season for sure. My son is finally old enough to stay home alone (sadly, he doesn't want to hunt).

If anyone can lead me in the right direction, I'd be much obliged. I live in Williamson County. A lease close to home would be nice since I'm a single mom and don't want to wander too far from the man-child.
