I have a BBK. The coons shorted out the solar charger and took out my timer. I called and they sent me a new timer brain, for $19.

It is a model PT-6. "6-12 volt Digital Replacement" I'm gonna call BA today and see if there is something we can work out.

If you're looking for quality and extremely good service, I encourage you to at least check with Karl at Ultramatic. I was a customer before Karl became a sponsor, and you won't find anybody that takes better care of a customer than Karl. http://www.ultramaticfeeders.com

Cool, the timer should not matter because its just switch that allows power to the motor at the right time, but the motor on the other hand--- if it is not 12 volt then there is your problem--- Good luck, hope you get it fixed

We have changed out around 6 over the last couple of years with ALL Seasons digitals and have yet to have any problem. They are very simple to set even if you don't have the directions or a 6 yr old to do it for you.

I just built a new feeder and used The Timer from ultramatic feeders it works great and is easy to program.
I also keep the Moultrie digital at the lease for a back up they work just fine and don't cost much.

                  The Timer

I have been using "The Timer" in my feeders and I am very happy with them. As my timers go out I replace them with "The Timer". Easy to set, easy to use and they keep excellent time. Hogs tore up one feeder twice and the Timer was exposed to the weather for quite a while and it came out like a champ. I am sold. Between myself and one friend we have eleven in use.

Budrow, I have a Kenko photocell, and I love it. It feeds twice a day, right now I have it set to 8 seconds. You put it in the field and the photocell tells it when the sun rises and sets, and it adjusts the feed time. It goes off a little bit after sunrise, and a good hour before sunset....no messing with times on mine...but then again, I only get two feedings a day....

I hate to keep hijacking this thread, but.....the guy at BA Products acted like he couldn't believe that someone would actually use a vehicle blower motor on a feeder instead of their purpose built feeder motors. He said that my motor was drawing too much juice and that I should buy a motor from them. I told him that blower motors had worked with every other digital timer that I have paired them with in the last 15 years, except his. I think I'll just sell the BA unit and move on to a less high tech timer with no "SHORT" sensor.
