Need Tracking Dog Near Childress for Muley4x4

Jarred (Muley4x4) just called me and needs a tracking dog near Childress for a good buck he shot at 4:00 yesterday and jumped late last night.

We tried the 2 contacts on the list posted here that show to cover that area. He got no response on one and I got a message from the other that he wouldn't be able to track today.

Anyone know any other's with dog's in the area?

I'm trying there too. Got ahold of a Michael Chittum off that list and he can't make it, but is trying to find someone.

I've contacted 5 off the lists and struck out with 4. But, a couple are still trying to get hold of other's they know.

Still looking if anyone knows of any....

Try Matt Thompson I believe he is the warden in either Quanah or Childress. One of the guys from work said he has a dog. 9 4 0 8 3 9 5289. I didn't know it but he also said Pat Canaan has a tracking dog.

I'm going to be away from the 'puter so call me if this doesn't work out. I think you have my number but I will PM it anyway.

I finally had a fella from Pampa call me back, but he was hesitant to take up the track with the high wind and low humidity.

I talked to Jarred around noon and he had gotten permission from the adjacent landowner to continue the track and take a rifle just in case. He was pretty confident that he would be able to find the trail again. The Childress game warden had helped him track last night as well.

Keep your fingers crossed for good news soon.
