Ideas from TBH for swivel seat for ladder stand

    I make my own ladder stands and tripods and have used the same swivel system for over 20 yrs. now with really good results. I put a piece of 3/4" all thread rod on the stand and a 3/4" all thread coupler on the seat. The coupler is like a reallt tall nut. Use white grease[it's odorless] and spin the seat onto the rod. It has a little bit of slack to it but is absolutely silent.

        is that bolted directly into the tree limb??? if so great idea!!

            It's not that hard and we made the top demountable so it doesn't weigh a ton...lots of room, too

                    I see no need to weld unless you just want to. I weld because it is faster for me. But i see no reason why you cant drill and bolt everything you are wanting to do.

                    btw i use the 8.99 boat seat swivel (bearing) from walmart on my tripod i built. Zero noise.
