Not a soapbox, just calling it as I see it. I would assume that the founders of the site used the word Bow hunter in the title because they were and wanted a forum for Bow hunters to share their sucesses and not be hijacked by a bunch of rifle hunters posts of their kills which do not take the skill and dedication of a bow hunter (Kids excluded of course.)

I'll be the first to admitt I am not a member of the PC crowd but like to call it as it is.

Then I will do the same.....putting words in the "founder" mouth is not needed. This topic comes up alot each season (i.e. use the search feature)......In the previous threads you issues were delt with but for the record.

This section is called AT THE CAMPFIRE....which means we discuss all things....not just hunting related. However, anytime a deer is taken with a gun, this is the appropriate forum for it.

I posted this in "Around the Campfire" so it would get the most attention for a reason. Everytime I get on here lately Monster buck this giant buck that and what is it a rifle kill. Maybee every once in a while someone needs to stir the pot a little to remind the rifle hijackers to keep it where it belongs.
