    SUV vs Truck Question

For the last few years I've driven a F250 4x4 crew cab for work. Its served me well in the job and for my personal life.

I work in the Oil and Gas industry, and after accepting a new job, I will be spending less time in the field and requiring a 'heavy duty' truck and could move to something that is a bit more comfy.

As such; I've been thinking of getting a 2011 Suburban LTZ 4x4. I think the ride, the interior storage, and 'luxury' level is going to be superior, and the 4x4 will give me the oomph i need in the oil patch when it comes to it...

    Any suggestions or thoughts?

Also, I'd like to buy in the Fort Worth area. Jerry's of Weatherford jerked me around pretty good tonight, so i doubt i'll be heading back there...

We own a 2010 Suburban LTZ 4X4. It is awesome. It pulls our Ranger Crew just fine and handles the lease roads well too. This is our 2nd burb. Drove the 1st one for 6 years and put over 130K miles. It was bullet proof. We also have a 2010 F150 Super Crew 4X4. It's nice, but rides extremely rough compared to the burb.

If you're looking for an excellent ride with plush amenities in a full size suv - hard to beat a suburban.

The only vehicles I ever owned were trucks until my present vehicle. I went from a truck to a Tahoe. The ride isn't appreciably better and I feel that I have lost a tremendous amount of utility. I am looking for a truck now specifically because of this.

The tahoe is an awesome vehicle. I wouldnt suggest jerrys. Moritz in ft.worth is awesome. I bought a car for Tim Parker and he is a great guy that will treat you right.
