First Duck with a bow

Yes Duck. I was hunting a stand between two sloughs and had a few Wood Ducks come in. One of the ducks left the water and was eating acorns all around me. I had not seen any deer and it was about to get dark so I decided to take a shot. I shot him at 25 yards. Was thinking about mounting him but before I got down a coon found him. I climbed down as fast as I could but the coon chewed his head pretty bad.

If you would have shot the coon you could have gotten a mount done with the coon eating the duck!

I am guessing the acorns were from the trees unless of course he poured out a bag of Acorn Rage.

nice shot...I Would see what the taxi could maybe do to fix chewed on head..If it could be fixed, I would have it mounted for sure
