I know it's not related to bowhunting but oh well. I need to get a new choke tube for my 870. This is a primary duck gun. I'm going to get a modified but not sure which one. I used to have a Kicks for my Stoeger and I really liked it. But there are others like Carlson Patternmaster etc.

I have a couple herters chockes and some briley's they all work great but for my ducks I like an improved modified and gees a mod or extended full -

I like pattern master in modified with pubble ducks. With the divers like red heads and blue bills I like full choke to keep from wiping out the hole flock since they usually come in huge tight bunches.Last edited by Muddy Bud; 11-20-2010, 08:50 PM.Comment

I am a Briley fan myself. Depending on the situation you don't need anything more than a Light Modified for ducks. I hae a skeet choke in my gun right now that has been in since teal season. Have not had a reason to take it out yet.Comment
