My wife is shooting a 30-06 with 150 gr Ballistic tips. Their is NO blood trail and It does not knock the deer down. Makes for an exciting look for deer. Its happened the last 2 shots. Good placement and no exit. I watched her shoot a nice 9 pt this morning and there was not a drop of blood. Found him about 75 yards. Complete destruction of heart. What is recommended

Ballistic Tips will do that... Explodes upon impact. Does devastating damage once inside but doesn't retain any shape, no "mushroom effect" and hardly ever an exit.
I prefer Hornady SST. That's what I shoot out of my .308 I'm sure you'll get several different choices posted

That's nuts!
I shoot these bullets as well and I've never had a problem.
In fact, usually drop the deer in it's tracts and/or blow a hole on them the size of a softball.
I went in a meat hunt behind a high game fence and the guide that was videoing the hunt screamed after the shot "What the he'll kind of bullet are you shooting?"
I told him and asked why...
He said he'd never seen a bullet open a deer up like that before. He was extremely shocked.
Don't know what to tell you.....
I hear great things about Fusion.

Barnes Tipped TSX 150 to 180gr is what I reload 30 cal with.
Solid copper that will expand and stay together. Maximum shock and penetration. I think you can buy factory ammo loaded with these---somewhere---maybe????
I've loaded these for people to take to Africa and the PH's were impressed with their stopping power on plains game.
